Facebook Directors Accused of Losing Emails Amid Privacy Scandal

Investors accused former Facebook directors Sheryl Sandberg and Jeffrey Zients of “foot-dragging” on Monday over allegations they intentionally deleted communications in personal email accounts about claims they ignored rampant privacy violations, including the Cambridge Analytica scandal.

Sandberg, Facebook’s former Chief Operating Officer, and Zients, who’s currently White House chief of staff for President Joe Biden (D), had been notified in May 2018 to preserve emails and other documents relevant to pending litigation.
