F2 Strategy Seeks Noninfringement Ruling for ‘OCTO’ Against Okta

Wealth management technology firm F2 Strategy LLC asked a federal trial court to rule that its use of the trademark ‘OCTO’ doesn’t infringe or dilute the marks of internet applications software developer Okta Inc.

F2 Strategy filed the declaratory judgment action after Okta asserted the company was infringing on its marks and “made veiled threats of litigation,” according to the complaint filed Monday in the US District Court for the District of Delaware.
