Former New York City Councilmember Andy King (D) has reached a settlement with a communications and events manager who alleged he retaliated against her.

After Shana Melius spoke with a city council compliance officer investigating allegations of gender-based discrimination against King, she alleged that King required her to report exclusively to his district office in the Bronx instead of the Manhattan office closer to her home.
