Exculpatory Police Report Revives Late Man’s Civil Rights Suit

Cleveland could face a trial over whether police failed to hand over exculpatory evidence in the case of a man who spent nearly 46 years in prison for the murder of his wife, the Sixth Circuit said.

A page of a police report showed someone other than the late Isaiah Andrews could’ve killed his wife, a divided panel of the US Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit said Tuesday.
