Ex-VA Workers End Suit Challenging Firings Over DEI Designation

A group of former Department of Veterans Affairs employees dropped claims that they were wrongly fired after their work was erroneously deemed related to diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility efforts.

The 12 John and Jane Doe plaintiffs voluntarily dismissed their suit without prejudice in a Monday filing in the US District Court for the District of Columbia. The workers said in a March complaint that they were fired pursuant to President Donald Trump‘s Jan. 20 executive order directing agencies to terminate all DEIA-related offices and positions.
