Ex-Twitter Workers Can Dismiss Appeal of Severance Case

Former employees at Twitter who sued the company after they were laid off amid Elon Musk’s take over of the social media platform can proceed with voluntarily dismissing their appeal, the Ninth Circuit said Wednesday.

The action book ends a complicated battle among class members over how to resolve a class action from former Twitter employees who said Musk failed to pay them severance.

The original plaintiffs who sued on behalf of the class, Courtney McMillian and Ronald Cooper, appealed the dismissal of the suit to the Ninth Circuit.
