Ex-Twentieth Century Fox VP Advances ERISA Disclosure Claim

A former Twenty-First Century Fox Inc. vice president who says she was fired and denied severance after declining to switch jobs following a merger with Walt Disney Co. partially advanced her ERISA lawsuit, according to a California federal court ruling.

Bernadette Paine adequately alleged that the defendants failed to provide her with a legally sufficient copy of her severance plan’s summary document, Judge Virginia A. Phillips of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California said in an order docketed Monday.
