Judd Stone, the former solicitor general for the state of Texas, resigned in 2023 rather than get fired after two women employees accused him of sexual harassment, according to an internal document attached to a federal lawsuit that one of them filed Tuesday.
Stone also made threatening comments to one of the women about the office’s top assistant, Brent Webster, that caused Webster to raise fears about his family’s safety to another higher-up in the office, the lawsuit said.
