Seton Hall University failed Monday to shake off claims it concealed from a former member of the school basketball team that he had a torn meniscus in order to keep him on the court.
Plaintiff Myles Powell plausibly alleged a gross negligence claim against the school, head basketball coach Kevin Willard and head team physician Anthony Testa, Judge William J. Martini of the US District Court for the District of New Jersey ruled.
