Ex-Phazzer Electronics Employee Gets Contempt Conviction Tossed

A woman found guilty of criminal contempt for violating an injunction prohibiting her former employer, now-defunct Phazzer Electronics Inc., from selling certain patent-infringing stun guns won her appeal on Thursday.

The injunction, entered in 2017, didn’t extend broadly enough to bind Diana Robinson, at least under the theories of liability that the government pursued, the US Court Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit said.
