Ex-Perrigo Worker’s Wrongful Termination Case Heads Toward Trial

A former Perrigo Co. assistant treasurer can take his wrongful termination claim to trial because there’s a genuine dispute over whether he agreed to a shortened limitations period, a federal judge said.

The normal statute of limitations for the worker’s claim is three years, but Perrigo says a contract trimmed that to 190 days. It’s unclear whether the fired worker agreed to the significantly shorter limitations period by completing an online course during his onboarding, the US District Court for the Western District of Michigan said Tuesday.
