Parker Waichman LLP lost its bid to revive a lawsuit against two of its former attorneys and a paralegal for allegedly stealing the firm’s clients and legal fees.
Evidence presented at trial supported the conclusion that Andres Alonso, David Krangle, and Michelle Mauro didn’t breach their duty of loyalty, the Supreme Court of New York, Appellate Division, Second Department, ruled Wednesday. The court also affirmed a $676,000 award to Alonso and Krangle for origination compensation and $20,000 to Mauro for sex discrimination.
