Former MLB pitcher Trevor Bauer dismissed allegations that The Athletic Media Co. defamed him after the online sports news website published a clarification.
The Athletic on June 27 posted a clarification of a 2021 story about a protective order sought against Bauer “by a California woman who claimed he injured her during rough sex,” according to the stipulation of dismissal filed Tuesday in the US District Court for the Central District of California.
