Ex-Members of The Guess Who Sue for $20 Million Over Use of Name

Two original members of the 1960s and 1970s famed Canadian rock band, The Guess Who, are suing the band and its other two original members, alleging they are deceptively passing off a cover band as the original musical group.

Plaintiffs Randy Bachman and Burton Cummings allege that Michael Kale and Garry Peterson “covertly formed a partnership” without the plaintiffs “and have been exploiting the band name,” according to the complaint filed Monday in the US District Court for the Central District of California.
