Kamran Niazi said in his complaint that McKinsey didn’t want to acknowledge its products were unable to restore a client’s data in the event of a ransomware attack. Niazi said that after he refused to hide the severity of the problem in a presentation to a McKinsey executive, he was told to either accept a previously withdrawn performance improvement plan or lose his job. He chose to be terminated.
