A federal law requiring sexual assault victims be released from mandatory arbitration agreements to allow them to sue their assailants applies to a male attorney who said he faced harassment, an Ohio appeals court said Thursday.
The Ohio Court of Appeals, Eighth District refused a request by the Philadelphia-based Marshall Dennehey PC and Leslie M. Jenny, the managing attorney of its Cleveland office, to force the lawsuit by former shareholder Keith Hansbrough into arbitration. The court sent the case back for further litigation.
