A federal appeals court dismissed former Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice Roy Moore’s case claiming that a Washington, D.C. news outlet defamed him in articles revisiting previously reported allegations of sexual misconduct.
A trio of judges at the US Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit dismissed Moore’s appeal Monday for lack of jurisdiction, finding the lower court hadn’t properly entered a final decision.
