Ex-Illinois Central Worker Must Return Computer Code He Created

Illinois Central Railroad Co. won an injunction requiring a financial senior manager to turn over the source code for a program management application and other materials he created or used while working for the company while its lawsuit against him plays out.

The ruling Monday by the US District Court for the Northern District of Indiana said the Canadian National Railway subsidiary showed it was likely to succeed on the merits of its trade secrets and breach-of-contract claims and will suffer irreparable harm if denied injunctive relief.
