Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co. and a subsidiary were denied quick victories on a sales employee’s claims that she was treated unequally, paid unequally, and harassed because of her gender and retaliated against for complaining.

The woman sufficiently alleged the sort of “official action” needed to establish adverse job action under California’s Fair Employment and Housing Act, the US District Court for the Northern District of California said.
