Ex-GSV Acquisitions Managing Director Sued Over Trade Secrets

GSV Acquisitions LLC and a subsidiary allege one of its former managing partners stole trade secrets and infringed its trademarks as he pursued unauthorized deals for personal gain, according to a federal lawsuit.

Jon Ellison has pursued at least seven unauthorized deals over the past eight months without GSV’s knowledge or approval, the complaint filed in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee said. The private equity firm works with technology-based companies in the markets of transportation, specialty medical, legal, and more, the complaint said.
