A former vice president with First Citizens Bank says the company illegally fired him after reporting alleged sexual harassment by a high-ranking bank executive and a fraud scheme, according to a new lawsuit Wednesday.
Barry Britten Buchanan says First Citizens Bank & Trust Co. violated Article VII and Virginia law when it fired him in 2023 for reporting misconduct by a company executive and the bank itself, according to his complaint.
