A former FBI informant admitted that he lied to his FBI handler that Burisma paid a $5 million bribe to both then-Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden, according to a federal plea agreement.

Alexander Smirnov will plead guilty to creating a false and fictitious record in a federal investigation and three counts of tax evasion, according to a filing in the US District Court for the Central District of California.
