A former employee of Exome Asset Management is suing the asset management company and the company’s manager and founding partner alleging gender discrimination and retaliation.
Former executive Meredith Hagen alleges that Exome and founding partner Samuel Isaly discriminated against her based on her gender with respect to the terms and conditions of her employment, including treating her worse than her male counterparts. Hagen claims she was subjected to gender-based harassment, denied equity in the company that was offered to male employees, expected to perform menial tasks that male employees were not, and retaliated against for complaining about unlawful activity.
