A former employee of Hamilton Sundstrand Corp. is suing the aerospace manufacturer alleging sex discrimination and retaliation under federal and state civil rights laws.
Previously employed as a principal specialist of Industry and Segment Analytics at Hamilton Sundstrand, Emily Koch alleges that her supervisor made offensive discriminatory comments about women and other protected groups during team meetings, according to a complaint filed Oct. 1 in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. Koch, at times, verbally challenged her supervisor’s offensive comments, the complaint says.
