Ex-DEI Adviser Alleges Bias, Assault While at US Commerce Agency

A former senior adviser for diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility at a US Department of Commerce agency alleges she was forced to resign from her post after reporting numerous instances of discrimination and a sexual assault.

The hostile environment and sexual assault Brandee Anderson experienced while working at the Minority Business Development Agency has caused her immense emotional distress, and she’s since been diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder and depression, according to the complaint filed Monday in the US District Court for the District of Columbia.
