Ex-CVS Nurse Settles Employment Suit After Supreme Court Case

A former CVS nurse practitioner in Kansas settled her case after alleging that CVS refused to accomodate her religious beliefs that prevent her from prescribing contraceptives or Plan B.

Judge Kathryn H. Vratil, of the US District Court for the District of Kansas, administratively terminated the case Tuesday after being notified CVS and Suzanne Schuler reached a settlement last week, on Oct. 10. The complaint asserted one Title VII claim for religious discrimination.
