Ex-Capgemini IT Worker Agrees to Resolve FMLA Leave Lawsuit

Capgemini America has settled allegations that it violated the Family and Medical Leave Act when it terminated a IT worker after he took time off for anxiety-related health issues.

Ramses Ibrahim said he was initially placed “on the bench"—away from clients—before taking leave under the law, and asserted that when he returned, he should’ve been restored to a client-facing position. Instead, Ibrahim said he was returned to “the bench” and later let go in violation of the FMLA.
