Ex-Boeing Attorney Fired For ‘Valid,’ Non-Biased Reasons (1)

Boeing Co. convinced a federal district judge to drop claims by a former company attorney who alleged she was fired in 2021 after suffering “racial animus” for being Asian.

Jane Kang couldn’t adequately refute evidence that she had a difficult relationship with coworkers, communicated inappropriately with clients, and went against direct orders from her manager, said Judge Ricardo S. Martinez, of the US District Court for the Western District of Washington. Martinez granted Boeing’s motion for summary judgment, dismissed Kang’s claims, and closed the case.
