Ex-Apple Supervisor Sues for Sexual Harassment, Disability Bias

A former Apple Inc. employee is suing the technology company, alleging retaliation and wrongful termination after reporting sexual harassment by his supervisor and requesting accommodations for his disabilities.

Former Apple supervisor Joshua Katona claims his supervisor began in October 2023 to sexually harass him in the form of unwanted touching and an invitation to his home for sexual favors, according to his complaint filed Monday with the US District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina. Katona’s supervisor “also implied that sexual favors involving” both his superior and his wife “would help Katona ‘keep his job.’”
