Ex-Abercrombie CEO Says Company Must Pay Criminal Defense Costs

Former Abercrombie & Fitch Co. CEO Mike Jeffries sued the apparel retailer to get the company to pay his legal costs stemming from a criminal indictment for alleged sex trafficking of male models for parties.

Jeffries’ complaint for advancement, filed Nov. 27 in the Delaware Chancery Court, says that Abercrombie & Fitch denied his request to advance his costs for defending the federal charges as required under a 2014 indemnification agreement.
