Eversource Energy 401(k) Lawsuit Falters for Lack of Detail

A proposed class action challenging the funds in Eversource Energy Co.'s 401(k) plan faltered Tuesday, when a Connecticut federal judge said the complaint didn’t specify which funds the plaintiffs held in their retirement accounts.

The plan participants can’t show they were injured by the allegedly imprudent funds in the Eversource plan without clarifying which of the challenged funds they invested in, Judge Janet C. Hall of the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut said.
