Claims against Evercode Infinite in a lawsuit over a hacker’s theft of more than $100 million from cryptocurrency platform Atomic Wallet should be dismissed on jurisdictional grounds, the company said in a court filing.
Plaintiffs Robert Meany, Graham Dickinson, John Briscoe, and 18 others alleged in a proposed class action filed in the US District Court for the District of Colorado that Atomic Wallet’s lax cybersecurity practices led to the theft of funds from 5,500 cryptocurrency wallets.
