Ernst & Young Sued by Black Ex-Worker for Bias, Retaliation (1)

Ernst & Young LLP has been sued by a Black former employee claiming the accounting and advisory firm discriminated against her on the basis of her race and gender, then fired her in retaliation for complaining and for participating in an internal discrimination probe.

Diane Hughes had worked for the firm as a business consultant for just over a year before being fired in November 2023, according to the complaint she filed Monday at the US District Court for the Northern District of Georgia at Atlanta.
