Ericsson Inc. allegedly failed to take steps to safeguard sensitive employee and customer data, and then waited more than a year before disclosing that information was accessed in a cyberattack, according to a federal lawsuit.
Two former Ericsson employees sued the telecommunications company in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas Monday for allegedly failing to protect their personal information in an April 2025 data breach that exposed names and Social Security numbers of more than 15,000 people.
