Equinox Sued by Trainer Over Race, Disability Discrimination (1)

Luxury gym chain Equinox Holdings Inc. was sued Wednesday by celebrity fitness trainer Mario Godiva for wrongful termination as well as race and disability discrimination.

Equinox fired Godiva, who is Black, for complaints he made about being treated unfairly compared to White instructors and the discrimination he faced while battling health crises, his lawsuit alleged.
