Epstein Files Disclosed a Little Too Much, Judge Says

Some of the hundreds of documents tied to Jeffrey Epstein that were released earlier this month weren’t properly redacted, resulting in some of the people named “fearing for their safety,” a federal judge said Friday.

US District Judge Loretta Preska said lawyers in the case failed to remove information she’d ordered should remain under seal, resulting in the disclosure of the phone numbers, email addresses and names of people tied to the case, including victims — referred to as Jane Does. Some photos were also accidentally released, records show.
