EPA Settles Suit Over San Fernando Valley Superfund Site Cleanup

Four companies that own operations in a San Fernando Valley Superfund Site have each agreed to pay $250,000 to the federal government and collectively more than $20,000 to the state of California to settle claims that the companies failed to pay costs associated with mitigating groundwater contamination in the area.
