EPA Must Release Documents on Chemical Risk Reports, Suit Says

The EPA has failed to timely respond to a request seeking documents on how it treats chemical risk reports, an environmental group told a Washington, D.C., federal court in a new complaint.

Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility says it filed a Freedom of Information Act request for the documents Nov. 19, 2021. The agency was required to make a final decision on the request by Dec. 9, but failed to do so, according to the lawsuit filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
