Eos Energy Beats Suit Over Misrepresenting Backlog to Investors

Eos Energy Enterprises Inc. is off the hook for a class action alleging the company misled investors about the risks of a major client’s ability to pay for about half of its energy storage system orders backlog after a federal judge dismissed the lawsuit.

Judge Jamel K. Semper of the US District Court for the District of New Jersey said that Eos wasn’t obligated to disclose financial issues its client Bridgelink Commodities LLC was facing between May 2022 and July 2023, according to a Nov. 8 opinion.
