Environment Group Drops Carefree Menstrual Liner PFAS Suit

A suit alleging Carefree menstrual liner maker Edgewell Personal Care Co. failed to warn customers about “forever chemicals” in its products was dropped in L.A. state court.

Environmental group Ecological Alliance LLC requested the case’s dismissal without prejudice Monday in California Superior Court, Los Angeles County, meaning it can be re-filed. The court in October called a hearing for Jan. 16 over a failure to file proof that Ecological Alliance served Carefree on time.
