Enterprise Products to Pay $1 Million Over Air Pollution Claims

Two subsidiaries of Enterprise Products Partners LP will pay $1 million to settle allegations that it violated state and federal air standards for failing to fix a leak at its Colorado natural gas facility, the US and Colorado Monday.

Enterprise Gas Processing LLC and Enterprise Products Operating LLC will also be subject to compliance checks to remedy its alleged violations the federal Clean Air Act and the Colorado Air Pollution Prevention and Control Act, according to a proposed consent decree.
