A former morning host of Kansas City radio station KRBZ may be able to prove Entercom paid her less than a male morning host at another station owned by the company because she is a woman, the District of Kansas ruled.
A jury must decide Afentra Bandokoudis’ Equal Pay Act and Title VII of the 1964 Civil Rights Act sex-based pay discrimination claims, the court said. Though the two laws have different tests for proving pay bias, Bandokoudis raised issues for trial under both laws, the court said Monday.
