English airline company Cranfield Aerospace Solutions Ltd. won’t face suit in federal court in Idaho over a plane crash in Indiana that killed three people because it doesn’t have sufficient contacts with the state to establish jurisdiction there, a federal appeals court ruled.
The estates of the deceased pilot and passengers alleged the crash was caused by defective design of the plane’s load alleviation system—a means of aerodynamically reducing the stress on an aircraft wing—which was designed by Tamarack Aerospace Group Inc.
