HNTB Corp. employees seeking to recoup work-from-home expenses since the start of Covid-19 settled their class action and Private Attorneys General Act claims in California federal court for $490,000.
Judge Anthony J. Battaglia of the US District Court for the Southern District of California gave final approval to the settlement Monday. It allocates $163,317 in attorneys’ fees and $15,000 in a service payment for the lead plaintiff.
The average class member will receive $298.24; the average PAGA plaintiff will receive $2.70, the court filing said.
