EMT Worker Loses Bisexual Bias Suit Over Supervisor’s Remarks

A Virginia emergency response services provider defeated a sex discrimination suit from a bisexual former employee who said Delta Response Team LLC’s vice president made disparaging remarks during background checks for other jobs.

The evidence was insufficient to prove the DRT vice president’s comments doomed the worker’s application, rather than a physiological health evaluation and negative reviews from other references, Judge Jasmine H. Yoon of the US District Court for the Western District of Virginia said. DRT was granted summary judgment.
