Empowering Integrated Care Solutions LLC settled a lawsuit from a whistleblower who accused the behavioral health-care provider of violating the False Claims Act by firing her in retaliation for complaining about alleged Medicaid fraud.
Empowering Integrated and registered nurse Lila Jenkins filed a stipulated notice of dismissal Tuesday with the US District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. Terms of the settlement weren’t made available, and counsel for the parties didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
