A former Fox Television Stations LLC worker must arbitrate two of his employment claims against the company, a federal district judge ruled Tuesday.
Fox demonstrated that Maximiliano Cabrera’s claim for unpaid hourly and overtime wages falls within the scope of his collective bargaining agreement’s arbitration clauses, said Judge James Donato of the US District Court for the Northern District of California. The judge ruled that his claims that the company failed to provide him with meal periods and overtime wages need to be arbitrated.
