Elgin Separation Solutions Denied Block on Use of Trade Secrets

Manufacturer Elgin Separation Solutions LLC isn’t entitled to a preliminary injunction barring a competitor from using its trade secrets and doing business with its customers and suppliers, a federal trial court ruled.

Elgin isn’t entitled to injunctive relief because it failed to show that the conduct of competitor Dillon Industries Inc., and its owner Chad Dillon, caused it irreparable harm, the US District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia ruled.
