Eisenhower Building Changes Delayed After Preservationists’ Suit

The Trump Administration agreed to delay its plans to paint the Eisenhower Executive Office Building until the end of December after a group of preservationists alleged the changes would violate federal laws.

Cultural Heritage Partners PLLC and the DC Preservation League sued the administration Nov. 14 over the EEOB plan. They said Trump’s plan to clean, repoint, and repaint the building doesn’t comply with the National Environmental Policy Act and the National Historic Preservation Act.
