Education Department Sued Over SAVE Plan Student Loan Benefits

The Department of Education faces a new lawsuit claiming it’s unlawfully withholding student loan repayment benefits under the Saving on Valuable Education Plan.

The department’s refusal to resume implementation of the Biden-era rule is arbitrary and capricious in violation of the Administrative Procedure Act, four federal student loan borrowers said in a Monday complaint filed to the US District Court for the District of Columbia.
